Back in 2013 we were asked if we could provide a day’s work experience to a young man who had decided that a criminology degree was not for him.
We asked why he did not want to continue his studies. He replied that racking up a student debt of £700 a week in return for 6 hours formal tuition was not a good deal. That tells you more than any CV could.
So we gave him the day’s work experience and then took him on as a low paid apprentice. And he worked – boy did he work!
In 2014 he secured a place at Nottingham Trent to read Real Estate. This year he graduated with a first class honours degree, the JLL Prize for best final year performance and a Graduate position with Knight Frank. All of which tells you how good his initial training was!!
Edward (Ed) Price has worked hard to achieve this and, even though he has gone to Knight Frank, we’re proud to have helped him on the way.
Some of you will already know Ed from his time with us. If you stay in property you will certainly come across him in the future.
When you do, remember, he’s one of our own!
